Finitas are working exclusively with a leading underwriting group in their search for an Assistant Accountant.

You will be working across the Finance function, completing various monthly deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation and completion of essential tasks to support the completion of regular reporting
• Journal postings in multicurrency ledger (Microsoft Dynamics) and Bank reconciliations
• Closing multiple country GAAP accounts and ensuring local and overseas regulatory submissions are made on a timely manner

Key Skills/Experience:

• Strong understanding of the insurance market including London market
• Good knowledge of double entries and good excel skills
• Able to perform balance sheet reconciliations across various geographies
• Understanding of cash reconciliations from a broker's prospective, IBA accounts debtors and creditors accounts
