Finitas are delighted to be assisting a Warrington based private training provider with the recruitment of a permanent Assistant Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will provide financial accounting support to the business. The Assistant Accountant role will include:

• Purchase ledger: processing of purchase invoices
• Supplier statement reconciliations and dealing with supplier queries
• Sales ledger: Raising and posting of invoices
• Allocation of payments
• Dealing with internal financial queries
• Bank and control and account reconciliations
• Assisting with the month end close down
• Posting of journals and journal adjustments
• Ad-hok office management duties such as booking meeting rooms when necessary

The ideal candidate for this role will be

• AAT qualified or equivalent
• Have experience in all round financial accounting duties in a previous role
• Have the abilility to travel to warrington when restrictions lift
