Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our group Compliance team, reporting directly to the Head of Compliance. Collaborating closely with the Legal and Compliance departments, as well as various business units across the UK, EU, and US, you will need a strong grasp of FCA regulations. Responsibilities:

You will be entrusted with delivering FCA regulatory frameworks, particularly focusing on:

  • Consumer duty: Leading the design, implementation, and integration of FCA outcomes, as well as managing ongoing responsibilities, liaising with business heads, and monitoring performance against Consumer Duty outcomes.
  • Treating customers fairly (TCF) and vulnerable customers: Designing frameworks and policies, collaborating with business heads, and monitoring performance against TCF and vulnerable customer outcomes.
  • Regulatory Risk Assessments: Understanding local regulatory requirements, conducting gap analyses, formulating and updating policies and procedures, and ensuring comprehensive compliance processes.
  • Corporate governance: Developing and maintaining the corporate governance framework, ensuring alignment with FCA expectations, providing guidance to executive management, and attending risk-related committees.
  • Compliance advisory: Providing day-to-day compliance advice, maintaining and improving compliance policies, escalating issues to the Head of Compliance, overseeing FCA returns, and supporting compliance interactions with the FCA.

Qualifications:

We seek candidates with:

  • Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within a payments firm.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing regulatory regimes and frameworks.
  • Expertise in consumer regulation within the Financial Services sector, including knowledge of Consumer Duty, PROD, SYSC rules, and TCF.
  • Experience in managing the design of new processes/procedures and effective matrix management.
  • Proactive initiative and a commitment to staying updated on legislative changes and regulatory consultations.

Nice-to-have qualifications include working knowledge of EU/US compliance frameworks and experience in a regulated payments firm.
