Our client is a global data center and colocation services provider. Due to unprecedented growth, they are looking for an experienced Marketing Director to join the Senior Management Team and help drive their plans to scale.

In this role, you will be working closely with the global, regional and country marketing teams, and responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across digital and traditional channels.

This role requires a data-driven mindset, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of marketing technologies and tactics, along with an ability to prepare marketing reporting designed for executive level review.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, and customer and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define target customer segments, value propositions, and key messaging adaptation for APAC.
  • Lead and manage digital marketing campaigns for the region, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Analyze marketing data and metrics to optimize campaign performance, ROI, and customer engagement.
  • Support implementation of marketing automation tools and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency with tight collaboration to global systems, tools & processes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track performance against KPIs and targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners, agencies, and vendors.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on marketing performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging marketing technologies, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Work with global demand generation team to establish best practices for lead-generation activities that support the targeting of the full range of prospects.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate local level activity to regional or global level to support multi-country sales opportunities.
  • Provide regional representation for important change programs such as re-branding; web design; social media strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in growth marketing roles, with 10+ years of experience
  • People management experience essential along with managing people from different cultures who may not speak English as a first language.
  • This role will require mature leadership ability to mentor and develop a young team for success.
  • Experience working in an international business environment and within a matrix reporting structure.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills with an innate attention to detail (share portfolio if available)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, PowerBI etc.)
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, etc.) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, etc.).
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other relevant certifications is a plus, but not essential
  • Experience with leading Account Based Marketing strategies a plus
  • Ability to work in a start-up like environment with high degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Demonstrated experience in working with sales leaders in driving pipeline and revenue growth
