Finitas have partnered with a leading Global Insurance company to find a Programmes Underwriter. This is an exciting time to join in this newly created role as they are a rapidly growing business and need an individual to underwrite in accordance with the business plan with the purpose of underwriting a profitable account in the UK.

You will be expected to:

• To assist with the portfolio underwriting and development of International Financial & Professional Lines programme's business. (Programmes include lineslips, binding authorities and consortiums only.)
• Renew and underwrite new business opportunities within programmes business.
• To develop relationships with brokers and clients including visits and travel where necessary.

Required skills

• Completion/progression to ACII qualification
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience demonstrating report writing and numerical reasoning
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
