Project Manager - SaaS/MarTech - City of London - Competitive Salary

Finitas are working on a search for an experienced Project Manager. It provides the opportunity to work in a series of dynamic market sectors, all of which are facing a broad array of challenges following the outbreak of Covid-19.

You will be managing several high-profile projects for key customers worldwide. Meeting regularly, in person or virtually, with the customers to become a trusted advisor. To deliver projects on time and within budget. To delight our customers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

  • Engage regularly with your assigned Customers
  • Proven ability to respond and react to the realities of delivering in large scale, complex projects with distributed teams and multiple partners
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Decide and communicate on project priorities for shared resource planning
  • Provide centralised communication about projects, internally and externally
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels, to support ongoing and future opportunities
  • Coordinate internal resources, agreeing collective priorities, for the successful execution of projects
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives (lessons learned, feedback, ideas, et cetera)
  • Ensure structured testing/QA processes produce quality deliverables
  • Innovate and refine standardised processes and templates for PMO
  • Implement and maintain change control process
  • Clarify customer requirements and help define their success metrics/outcomes from the project
  • Measure, monitor and report on project performance, managing risks and issues, using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Provide 'data savvy' insights to inform and resolve challenges - our product is data - our challenges are data related
  • Support sales by providing compelling written input articulating the value proposition and capabilities of the CV Services function
  • Involvement in project scoping activity during project initiation

STRENGTHS YOU NEED TO PULL ON

  • You're a self-starting, high energy individual who owns your responsibilities
  • You're not fazed by running multiple projects at the same time
  • You've familiarity of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • You have direct experience of working successfully with distributed teams
  • You're outcome focused, and output focused on a day to day basis. You drive pace and maintain motivation
  • You're willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  • You have some knowledge of hardware, networking & infrastructure elements (Server and / or cloud) as our software relies on physical devices.
  • Experience of working in the Airport sector, or other heavily utilised areas (Transport hubs, Event Venue Management, etc), would be a bonus

EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other appropriate field; advanced degrees welcome but not required
  • Minimum 5+ years of software project management experience, preferably on the consulting side
  • PMP, or similar project management qualification, welcome but not required
