Finitas are working closely with a leading London Market Insurer looking to add a Senior Assistant Financial Controller to the Digital Transformation team.

You will be working closely with the finance departments and IT managers to complete monthly close, monthly financial reporting and variance explanations for all IT expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with IT and Finance teams to coordinate and support planning
• Take the lead in completing the accruals, prepayments and forecast process
• Ensure transactions have been allocated to the correct workstreams, identify corrections and getting them processed

What we're looking for:

• Insurance industry experience - London Market desirable
• Experienced in dealing with a large volume of financial transactions
• Good knowledge of accruals and prepayments process
• Good excel skills are required as the role has a large amount of spreadsheet work
• Procurement experience would be beneficial
• Experience managing relationships and influencing at the functional leadership level
