Our client is a Marine MGA focused on US marine hull. Due to recent success, they are looking to recruit a Junior Assistant Underwriter for their office based in the city.

This role is an opportunity for an insurance professional with around 1 years' experience within marine hull insurance. You will be working within a small team of Underwriters who have taken on several hires in the last 12 months. You will have varied workload, assisting on both new business and renewals, creating new policy documentation and endorsements, and liaising with clients/sub brokers to ensure all information is correct and collected in a timely manner.

What's needed to be considered?

• A minimum 1 years' experience within marine hull, either as a Broker Technician or as an Underwriting Assistant/Technician
• Team player and happy working in a small but growing business
• Able to prioritise a busy workload
• Able to work within the requirements of the client's capacity provider
