Our client is a global payments company, licensed and regulated by the FCA in the UK and Europe. Due to unprecedented growth, they are looking for an experienced CFO to join the Senior Management Team and help drive their plans to scale.
As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for managing and leading the financial initiatives, overseeing the HR and Operation functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner ensuring the business plan aligns to strategic objectives as well as providing insight and problem solving around critical issues
- Oversee all financial accounting and reporting and drive the company's financial strategy and planning
- Assess the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments
- Responsible for Liquidity management and Capital management
- Risk management - Cover following types of risk as a risk owner (Liquidity, FX, Banking, Credit, Fiscal)
- Maintain regulatory relations (FCA, PRA, Companies House, etc.), and the relationships with partners (banks, providers, etc.)
Requirements:
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
- Qualified Accountant with previous experience as Finance Director or Head of Finance
- Fintechs/Start-ups/Scale ups experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
- Solid knowledge of financial planning and analysis
- Experience with upgrading of accounting systems/automation of finance processes
- Understanding of FCA regulations
- Hands-on coach, analytical mindset with a strategic ability
- Ability to influence and challenge other members of the management team
- Emotionally intelligent
