Data Protection Executive | Investments | WFH | £25 - 29,000 (doe)

Finitas are delighted to be partnered with a leading investments company in their search for a Data Protection Executive. This is a newly created role reporting into the Head of Data Governance and will be sitting in the first line of defence.

Responsibilities include:

• Use judgement and knowledge of Privacy law to determine the right conclusions for managing and responding to data subject rights including requests for:
  • Access (DSARs)
  • Deletion
  • Rectification
  • Restriction
  • Portability
  • Objection
• Identify data and privacy risks, taking appropriate action to resolve, report and escalate accordingly

They are looking for highly motivated individuals to champion and deliver their clients' data rights and to proactively manage the risks around data. Ideally looking for someone degree educated or with a qualification in data protection.

This is a new role within the growing Data function and offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to establish themselves within one of the UK's most successful FTSE 100 companies. You will be given all the training and development required!

Please note this role can be based in Bristol or you can work from home and travel to Bristol twice a month.
