Data Protection Manager | Investments | £50 - 60,000 (doe)
Finitas are delighted to be partnered with a leading investments company in their search for a Data Protection Manager. This is a newly created position due to good growth.
The role will be sitting in the Compliance function as part of the second line of defence. You will be supporting the DPO in providing data protection assurance by undertaking Data Protection monitoring activity and ensuring compliance with GDPR.
You will also be involved in project work providing Data Protection advice, DPIA reviews, producing MI on data protection risk, working closely with the 1st line on operational Data Protection processes and more.
Experience required:
- Previous experience of working in a data protection role or hybrid data protection & compliance role
- Background of working in financial services
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally including the ICO
- CIPP or CIPM certification highly desirable
