Finitas are delighted to be working with a FinTech scaleup in their search for an enthusiastic FP&A Analyst. You will be part of the Insight function, with a wide-ranging remit to improve the management information of the business, prepare the forecasts / budgets, develop pricing models and understand the consumer loans performance. The role requires great stakeholder management as it will be the conduit between the data and the business leaders.

Our client supports hybrid remote working but would preferably like the individual to spend two days a week in their office in Staffordshire

Responsibilities:

MANAGEMENT REPORTING

* Extract data from the Data Warehouse and other sources using SQL and PowerBi to produce insightful and actionable management information

* Develop dashboards that will enable the C-suite to monitor the performance of the business and aid their decision making

* Rationalise the current suite of dashboards into a logical, well-presented source of great information

BOOK PERFORMANCE and PRICING

* Understand the historical performance of the consumer loan book, in conjunction with the Credit Analyst, to be able to predict future outcomes

* Utilise this knowledge to develop pricing models

* Work with the sales and finance teams, as well as third parties, to maximise sales and margins

BUDGETING and FORECASTING

* Produce the annual budget and periodic forecasts

* Enhance the financial model to demonstrate the impact of prospective changes

* Work with departmental managers to improve their financial literacy and controls

Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an analyst role, ideally within Financial services industry or fintech

* CIMA or equivalent qualification ideal

* Experience of managing effective working relationships with multiple internal stakeholders

* Advanced Excel skills and strong SQL (Power BI would be very helpful too)

* Attention to detail with an enquiring mind

* Strong communication skills, excellent planning, and organisational skills
