Digital Assets/Crypto - Operational Trade Support
Up to £85k base salary + bonus
Saturday - Tuesday working days
We are working with a leading algorithmic trading company partnering with counterparties, exchanges and e-trading venues globally to provide liquidity in the Equity, FX, Fixed Income, Commodity, and Crypto markets.
They are looking to hire a Operational Trade Support Manager (Crypto/Digital Assets) with primary responsibilities in BAU Operational tasks.
They are expanding their trading operations team to accommodate a 24/7 model to support crypto trading, which operates around the clock. They are seeking a candidate to join the team to work on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday each week. We envisage that you will work from the office on Monday and Tuesday, with Saturday and Sunday working from home.
The team has a presence in London, Singapore, New York, and Paris. They are hiring for this role in London, with duties shared between individuals with weekend work.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
* Trade Support: to be shared between Singapore and London during the weekend and the rest of the team
* Managing cash (margin) across multiple crypto exchanges and brokers
* Live risk monitoring and escalation
* Production of various reports (including P&L, risk, cash)
* Ad-hoc trade executions
* Ad-hoc data analysis
* Support business development in onboarding of new exchanges or counterparties
* Build and maintain automated processes
* Work with the technology team to develop new tools and applications
* Opportunities to gain exposure to various assets classes across the entire trade life cycle
Skills & Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience within trading, prime brokerage or clearing
* Excellent client-facing skills and a strong product understanding of digital assets and crypto
* Knowledge of buy side client workflow very helpful, hedge funds, asset managers, asset owners
* Entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to identify inefficiencies and work towards streamlining and automating those processes
* Technical skills such as Golang and SQL
* Ability to work remotely and as part of a global team
