Regional Head of Solution Delivery, EMEA, (Capital Markets) - London

Our client is the global leader in capital markets trade processing solutions. They service and support the world's top banks and asset managers with their transaction life cycle management.

We are looking for a senior individual to lead a team of delivery consultants working on multiple client software implementation projects across Europe.

You will be the go-to person for delivery to the client base and the primary escalation point for EMEA based projects. Heading up a team of technical implementation consultants across core products and in time set up to take the lead on all product engagements across the regional client portfolio. If you are a confident, articulate, and intelligent communicator who enjoys the challenge of dealing with large corporate clients in multiple sectors and multiple stakeholders across varied functions, this could be the role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget, to a very high quality with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and manage the scope, timing, and budget of multiple concurrent projects
  • Directly manage a regional team of implementation consultants, actively supervising and coaching every individual
  • Contribute to a robust client engagement model to maximise on going and future business
  • Own and manage senior level relationships personally with both client and internal stakeholders
  • Effectively mitigate project risks through risk identification and proactive planning to ensure revenue is protected and issues that threaten it are well communicated
  • Manage resource utilisation and allocation to ensure all projects have the correct resources assigned with the appropriate skill sets and capacity to deliver a quality product
  • Maintain a billable utilisation target more than 70%

Requirements

  • 10+ years in professional services and program management or software delivery in the financial industry (vendor side preferred)
  • Deep working knowledge of transaction life cycle management would be a huge plus
  • Hands on expertise of middle/back office technical operations also desirable
  • Experience actioning and aligning to cost and revenue responsibilities and objectives of the area
  • Genuine desire to develop customer relationships and through this provide an invaluable insight to our client
  • Experience of senior client stakeholder engagement in a complex organisation
  • Proven track record of driving change in people and processes
  • Strong people leadership skills in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment
  • Previous knowledge of designing and implementing training for skills deficient in the team
  • Enthusiasm to work closely with other regional heads to promote best practices for all consultants
