Risk Analyst | General Insurer | Surrey / WFH | £40 - 47,000 (doe)

Finitas are delighted to be exclusively supporting a leading general insurer in their search for a Risk Analyst to join their team and be part of the Risk & Capital team working closely with the risk manager.

You will be part of the 2nd line, where you will be supporting the operational and financial risks by ensuring the risk management framework is embedded within the business by helping teams to identify, document and effectively manage their key risks and controls. As well as provide advice and challenge of risks and issues to the business.

Experience required:

• Experience in a risk, assurance or audit role - minimum 2 years' experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
• Strong Financial Acumen
• Ability to analyse large amounts of data and create succinct reports
• Background in insurance
• Solvency II and ORSA experience (desirable)
• Understanding of risk quantification methodologies and tools (desirable)

This a truly amazing role where you will be afforded so much exposure & knowledge across enterprise risk, preparing Committee Reports, understanding of operational risk as well as corporate governance.

Please note you will be required to travel to their Surrey office once a week. As well as a competitive salary you will receive other amazing benefit and also a discretionary bonus of up to 10%!
