Risk Manager | Lloyd's Reinsurer | London / WFH | £75 - 85,000 (doe)
Finitas are delighted to be partnered with a leading Lloyd's Reinsurer in their search for a Risk Manager to join their global Risk team. This is a well-rounded position where you will be operating in a flat structure reporting into the CRO. Some responsibilities include:
- Updating the regulated entity risk
- Monitoring adherence to risk appetites and reviewing and updating risk policies
- Assist in organising the Risk Management Committees, including producing risk packs and dashboards
- Be involved in the development of stress tests for subsidiaries and branches in the international region
- Produce / contribute to the ORSAs in the region
- Ensuring that TRL's Partial Internal Model (PIM) meets the relevant regulatory standards, including:
- Participation in new projects and initiatives e.g. climate risk and ESG more broadly
Experience Required:
- Experience in risk functions/management within the (re)insurance industry - a minimum of 7 years insurance/reinsurance experience required
- Consultancy background working with (re)insurers would be desirable
- Degree calibre and with evidence of further professional development, eg. IRM / ACII
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
This is a cracking position to be part of a global team offering lots of exposure & development. You will also have an opportunity to travel to their global offices!
(Please note there is no people management responsibility and you will be required to work in their London office 2/3 days a week)
