Senior Capital Actuary | London Market Insurer | London / WFH | £50 - 100,000 (doe)
Finitas are working with a leading London market insurer in their search for either a part qualified or newly qualified actuary to join their Capital function.
You will be working within the Capital function at CNA Hardy, where you will have exposure to a range of products and territories. The role also covers three entities and you will be supporting the Head of Capital with capital modelling methodologies on a Solvency II basis using the internal model or standard formula as appropriate as well as carrying out portfolio optimisation duties.
Experience required:
- Good experience in an Actuarial role in the Capital Modelling.
- Lloyd's experience with good London Market, commercial or reinsurance capital modelling experience
- Strong understanding of regulatory capital setting on a Solvency II basis
- Strong communicator
- Good knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products.
- Expert IT systems skills, comfortable using capital modelling software - ideally Igloo
