Support Analyst - London - Insurance - either contract or perm (up to £550 per day or up to £70,000 pa)
Finitas are working exclusively with a London market consultancy SME in their efforts to add to their growing team. The client are a small consultancy delivering Finance Software solutions exclusively to the Lloyd's Insurance market. In this role, you will be responsible for managing tickets and support queries and develop and implement solutions into client data warehouses.
The ideal candidate has a strong Microsoft data warehousing technical skill set in a hands-on software analyst role. The role requires the candidate to understand and respond to client requests for advice on system use, to deliver data and coding fixes to system issues in a responsive yet controlled manner and to deliver new system versions containing requested changes to functionality.
The candidate will be organised, willing to take ownership for issues and be able to recognise and respond to client priorities. They will enjoy being part of a small team with a start-up culture working across a portfolio of clients.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge:
- Previous experience of a systems analyst or support role within a commercial software company or internal IT department.
- Technical skillset incorporating advanced SQL
- Experience of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and TFS is highly desirable
- Lloyds and London Market Insurance experience is beneficial but not essential
