Technical Compliance Consultant | Insurance | Warrington | £35 - 45,000 (doe)
Finitas are delighted to be partnered with a growing consultancy in their search for a Technical Compliance Consultant to work in their Warrington office.
You will be reporting to the Technical Manager and will be responsible for providing support to clients and colleagues with compliance enquiries. Some responsibilities include:
- Provide email and telephone support to clients on compliance related queries including verbal and written guidance/feedback across:
- Review of financial promotions including websites
- Review of client facing documentation and TOBAs
- Assist in the preparation of authorisation applications for new firms and other FCA applications, notifications or responses
- Review of draft RegData and other FCA required returns
- Assist in the review of complaints on behalf of clients including investigating the complaint on behalf of the client and drafting response letters
- Review client customer journeys and provide guidance on areas of regulatory risk
- Pro-actively identify issues / guidance needed for members and colleagues through relevant horizon scanning
- Prepare written material for and present at Compliance Workshops/Webinars if appropriate
Experience required:
- 2 years compliance experience
- Must be from an insurance background
- Good understanding and knowledge of FCA Rules and Principles
- Excellent written & verbal communication
Please note you must be able to work in Warrington 5 days a week.
