Delegated Authority Analyst

Finitas are working with a leading London Market insurer on the search for a Delegated Authority Analyst. The team manages the end-to-end bordereaux process, creating a centralised repository for reporting and analytics.

The Delegated Authority Analyst supports the Reporting Manager in processing and validating all delegated risk, premium, and claims bordereaux data. A key responsibility is collaborating with outsourced partners to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and data quality, delivering accurate outputs to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations with the outsource provider to ensure timely data flow into the bordereaux management system.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot bordereaux data issues by identifying trends and coordinating with internal and external teams to resolve problems.
  • Conduct data quality checks, reconcile financials, and escalate discrepancies as needed.
  • Implement controls to verify alignment between binding authority agreements and submitted data.
  • Perform peer reviews of bordereaux mappings in accordance with standard procedures and liaise with stakeholders for approvals.
  • Assist with contract setup and data loading within the system.
  • Maintain tracking mechanisms to ensure bordereaux submissions and downstream system updates are on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in delegated authority or bordereaux management.
  • Familiarity with Lloyd's and the London Insurance Market.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge of bordereaux systems, preferably including DDM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Professional demeanor with effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to assertively manage relationships and challenge when necessary while maintaining collaboration.
  • Strong time management, project coordination, and prioritisation skills.
  • Clear and concise communication of complex issues.
