Our client is a leading behavioural analytics and data driven marketing business designed for physical venues. Their technology solutions integrate a variety of data sources to understand physical spaces and their visitors.
The role requires knowledge and experience relating to; Software Design, Software Architecture, Computer Vision, Security, and Cloud Computing.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to work with cross functional teams such as; product, development and data science, and to lead the design of related spatial analytics technologies. This position will be based out of their London office and will report to the VP of Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, review, test and deploy new features
- Support and maintenance of production systems
- Work with the Development, Architecture, Support, and DevOps teams to enhance the SaaS platform
Skills Required:
- Experience with ML / deep learning frameworks such as; Tensorflow, PyTorch, OpenCV etc
- Extensive C++ and Python development experience
- Experience with IaaS / PaaS solution architectures, e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Solid understanding of development, release and support lifecycles
- Excellent working knowledge of Unix / Linux Operating Systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to self-manage
- Technical team oversight and mentoring
Desirable Skills:
- Experience designing systems that utilise video based computer vision algorithms
- Scripting skills, e.g. Perl, Python, Bash
- Credited research and / or community experience in the fields of spatial analysis or computer vision
- Solid working knowledge of streaming video processing techniques; formats, codecs, frame rates, frame types etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years commercial experience in Software Development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience
