Our client is a London based consultancy firm offering financial risk management and operational treasury services. They have been going for over 30 years and have offices in Sydney, Singapore, London and NYC.

You will be working closely with the Group Operations Manager and Chief Transformation Officer, with a primary focus to support the effective execution of the Business Development strategy. This is an office-based position in Central London, salary is up to £50k p/a.

Primary Accountabilities:

Business Development Strategy and Execution

  • Oversee, and support Consulting teams in the execution of BD activities, ensuring compliance, quality, and alignment with the overall BD plan
  • Coordinate central BD campaigns, working with stakeholders to define the content and audience

Data and Effectiveness

  • Interpret commercial data and other information, to gather insights, drive actions, and support decision making
  • Play a key role in the setup, design, and adoption of the company's CRM system
  • Use the CRM system and associated data to review BD activity (e.g. quantity, quality, alignment with strategic objectives) and drive improved effectiveness

Resources and Support

  • Maintain a central repository of BD materials to support company-wide BD activity and knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate training and other support mechanisms to embed BD best practices and foster continuous improvement across the business

Skills & Experience:

  • 2-5 years of proven experience in supporting Business Development team in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Familiarity with a corporate, consulting, and/or Private Equity backed environment is valued
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and willingness to embrace and champion new ideas
  • Ability to engage diverse stakeholders across an organisation, influencing behaviours and fostering alignment
  • Ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions
  • Professional qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. finance, business management, project or change management, etc.) are valued
